The scene involved a vampire feeding on a woman, along with the implied attack on her child and husband. Kat felt that the attack on the woman felt like an allusion to rape, and the scene was done in bad taste. Her article was a huge center of discussion at NeoGAF as well. The relationship between the Castlevania developers and Konami is solidifying beyond the Lords of Shadow series. A next gen title is already in the works. With Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 winding up on February 25, Mercury Steam, the studio behind the LOS series, is all said and done with Dracula and the Belmonts. So where does that leave them and Konami? Game producer, David Cox says the relationship is far from over.

In a recent letter sent out by Konami today, new assets relating to the upcoming sequel to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow have been revealed. The title has been advertised as featuring a sprawling, open-world environment, free-roaming cameras, and over 20 hours of action, combat and exploration, the new game picks up where the acclaimed original left off.
